Hello All!!!!
I am sorry for the delay but I have been very busy with work and with Lexi's Training. I would like to congratulate Lexi on getting her BH and SCH1 in the same weekend. It was a lot of hard work since she was 10 weeks old but it was well worth it when I got the scorebook back from the judge. Lexi hates the hot weather and the weather for the show was perfect. It was border line cold and partly raining. All in all, it went great and we got her titled. Next on the agenda for her is getting her AD, which is her endurance test completed. She has to run a total of 12 miles in 4 mile increments. She has a 15 min break in between each 4 mile leg. The dogs do not run in any weather above 75 degrees which is great. I am hoping for the 60's. She will be doing that test in October as well as entering in the conformation show for adult females, above 2 yrs of age. I figured I will already be getting there for the breed survey so I might as well enter the show. They will do a dental test there as well. If you wanted to know where I was going with all of this training and testing, well.......I will be breeding Lexi the first of the year. I have found a great stud dog in the area that will compliment her perfectly. I will be working with trainers and Lexi's breeder to make sure I am doing everything up to par. Well, that is enough for now and I will be posting a lot more now. Please let me know of your situation and if I can help in any way. Thanks!

Background of LEXI

I have always wanted a German Shepherd of my own. I realized I had to be finished with college before I can really have the time to put towards a dog. I came across a breeder in Tallmadge, Ohio with the exact criteria I was looking for in a breeder. I had a dog in mind and they seemed to have exactly what I was looking for. With 100% positive references, I knew I was in the right place. You can read all about them on their site at: www.wilmothdogs.com So, I received Lexi from them the first of August '06. She was the best thing I could have ever asked for. From day one, I knew she was going to be a special dog. 2 weeks after I brought her home, she started training. I do all of my training in Seville, Ohio at another breeders location. You can read about them at: www.germandogs.com This is when things became easier in the house and Lexi knew who the boss was!
